It's time to get started.

Whether you want to put your faith in Jesus for the very first time or renew your commitment to him, it’s never too late. Below is a resource to discover the claims of Christ and discover its impact on your everyday life for eternity.

Are you ready to make a fresh start with God?

God loves you and wants to give you a fresh start.  The only way to find forgiveness from God and to begin a relationship with Him is to trust in Jesus’ sacrifice for you and repent—turn from your sins. We urge you to take this step of faith today. To do that, simply talk to God—this is called praying—and tell Him you believe in His Son.

We suggest a prayer like this:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”

Scriptures on salvation

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:17

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
II Corinthians 5:21

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:4

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1-2
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Romans 8:11

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.
Romans 8:14

But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Galatians 6:14

But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:13-14

Now that you have made a decision to follow Jesus, it's time to be baptized. Baptism is an important symbol of your new life in Christ. It is the first step of obedience that every new Christian takes after coming to Christ.

And, it is an experience that you will never forget as you follow in the footsteps of billions of Christians before you who have been baptized.
To help you take the next steps in your new relationship with Christ, our Founding Pastor, Michael Schaefer, has written a book just for: The Next Steps for Your Journey.
